Hi, I’m Kamila - a passionate freelance photographer capturing real, beautiful moments since 2011.I specialise in newborn, family and events photography, with a natural, relaxed style - usually on location, whether at your home or somewhere meaningful to you. Recently, I’ve also expanded into pet, car, and product photography.Based in Nottinghamshire, I cover Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield, Chesterfield and surrounding areas, but happy to travel further.When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me out in nature, on long walks, often with a dog by my side.My work has been recognised in photography competitions and exhibited in London and Nottingham.

Newborn Photography
I love capturing those first precious days with your new little one.For the best results, newborn sessions are ideally done within the first 14 days, but can sometimes be extended up to 3 - 4 weeks. After that, babies are usually more awake and less curled up.All my sessions take place in the comfort of your home. There’s no need to travel as I’ll come to you with all equipment, including props and backgrounds you see in my photos.I work gently and at your baby’s pace, always putting safety first. I never force poses. With experience of photographing over 400 newborns, you can feel confident your baby is in safe hands 🤍Sessions usually last around 2 - 3 hours to allow time for feeding, changing, and cuddles. A full tummy helps, so please feed your baby just before I arrive if possible. If you can, try to keep them awake for a little while beforehand.Parents and siblings are always welcome to join in - no extra cost.Let’s capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments together!
Children Photography
Children grow up so fast - it’s the perfect time to capture them just as they are now, at any age.Outdoor sessions are ideal, as kids can have fun and be themselves. Whether it’s your garden or a favourite park, I focus on capturing genuine moments full of personality - from playful energy to quieter, more thoughtful shots, all in a natural way without forced posing.Sessions usually last up to 2 hours - enough time to capture a variety of relaxed, authentic photos, while keeping the experience fun and enjoyable for children.If you’d prefer something more cosy, I can also set up a session in your home with a portable backdrop and lighting.Smash cake sessions are also available - a lovely way to celebrate a first birthday 🎂
I also offer gift vouchers, perfect for new parents or as a special present.
Family / Events
A family photo shoot is a lovely way to bring everyone together and capture moments you’ll look back on for years.Perfect for special occasions like a new baby, birthdays, anniversaries or christenings I’ll capture a mix of relaxed portraits and natural moments that show your connection 😊Sessions last up to 2 hours and can take place at your home, in your garden, or outdoors at your favourite spot (Nottinghamshire/Derby area). I keep everything easy and relaxed, even if you’re not used to being in front of the camera.Family sessions also make a great gift - vouchers are available for any occasion.
Maternity sessions
First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy! It’s such a special time, and maternity photos are a beautiful way to capture it - something you’ll look back on for years to come.The best time for a session is around 34–35 weeks (or around 28 weeks for twins). Booking in advance is always a good idea, just in case your little one arrives early.Sessions are relaxed and easy-going, giving us plenty of time to create a variety of natural, beautiful images without feeling rushed. Your partner is very welcome to join, so we can capture the love and connection as you both wait for your little baby.We can shoot at a location that feels right for you - a favourite park or somewhere special in the Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire area.And one last thing - stretch marks are completely normal. If you feel unsure, I can gently edit them if you’d like, so you feel confident and comfortable with your photos.Gift vouchers are also available, making a thoughtful present for expecting parents.

Your wedding day is going to be one of the most special days of your life, and my aim is to capture it in a natural, beautiful way - so you can look back and relive it all for years to come.Every couple is different, and every wedding has its own feel, so I don’t follow a strict formula. I keep things relaxed, go with the flow of your day, and photograph moments as they happen. From the big “I do” to all the little in-between moments you might not even realise are happening - those are often the most meaningful.Whether you’re planning a small civil ceremony with just a couple of hours of coverage or a half-day celebration, I offer flexible options to fit your plans. If you fancy an outdoor session after the wedding – the next day or even a few weeks later - we can absolutely arrange that too.My style is mostly documentary, with a bit of creativity mixed in. I won’t over-pose you or interrupt the day - I’ll just gently guide when needed and focus on capturing real moments and emotions.If you’d like, I can also create a custom wedding album for you - a beautiful keepsake full of your favourite highlights, something you and your family will treasure forever.
Fashion / Makeovers
These sessions are all about you - taking a bit of time to feel confident, beautiful, and completely yourself in front of the camera.Whether you’d love an outdoor shoot, a styled session in a hired studio, or something a bit more cosy and personal in an Airbnb space (like boudoir kind of session) we can create something that really fits your vibe.I keep everything relaxed and easy, so you don’t need to worry about posing or “knowing what to do.” I’ll gently guide you when needed, but the focus is on capturing natural movement, real expressions, and those moments where you truly feel like you.These sessions are not just about photos - they’re about confidence, self-expression, and seeing yourself in a different light. A lot of my clients say they walk away feeling more empowered than they expected.You can keep it simple or go all out with styling, hair and make-up - whatever makes you feel your best. Our pets are part of the family and there’s no better way to celebrate them, than with a fun, relaxed photo shoot full of personality and love.💕Outdoor sessions, especially in spring and summer, create a beautiful natural backdrop with greenery and flowers - the perfect setting to capture your pet being their true self, whether playing, exploring or just enjoying the moment.I also offer cosy at-home sessions with a portable backdrop and lighting, ideal if your pet feels most comfortable in their own space.You’re very welcome to join in too - it’s a lovely way to capture the bond you share with your four-legged best friend.Sessions are natural and stress-free, with a mix of portraits and playful, genuine moments. Gift vouchers are also available for animal lovers.
